Welcome to Momma Dee's Kitchen! By placing an order, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Please read them carefully before making any purchase.
1. General Information
Momma Dee's Kitchen is a home-based cottage bakery that specializes in homemade baked goods, made fresh upon order. All products are made in a home kitchen that may process common allergens such as nuts, dairy, gluten, and eggs. We have taken the time to list each product's ingredients and allergens here on our website. Please contact us directly if you have any specific dietary restrictions or allergies and we will do our absolute best to accommodate.
2. Ordering and Payment
- Orders: All orders must be placed through our official website, email, or direct messaging. A confirmation will be provided upon receipt of your order.
- Payment: Payment is required at the time of ordering. We accept payments via Cash (for in-person events) and Venmo. No order will be processed until payment is confirmed.
- Custom Orders: For custom orders (e.g., personalized cakes, cupcakes), please place your order at least 7 days in advance. Additional charges may apply depending on customization requests. We can not guarantee the availability of some artwork based on complexity of the design.
3. Pickup and Delivery
- Pickup: Orders can be picked up directly from Momma Dee’s Kitchen. We will provide a specific time and location upon order confirmation.
- Delivery: Delivery is available within a 15-mile radius for an additional fee. The delivery fee is based on the distance from our home location. Orders for delivery must be scheduled in advance, and the time will be agreed upon during order confirmation.
- Late Pickup/Delivery: We cannot guarantee the freshness of baked goods for orders that are not picked up or received at the agreed-upon time.
4. Refunds and Cancellations
- Cancellations: Orders must be canceled at least 48 hours in advance for a full refund. Cancellations made after this time may not be eligible for a refund, depending on the status of the preparation.
- Refunds: Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not offer refunds or exchanges. However, if there is an issue with your order (e.g., incorrect items, quality concerns), please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order, and we will do our best to resolve the situation.
5. Allergies and Dietary Preferences
Momma Dee's Kitchen is not a certified allergen-free bakery. While we strive to accommodate dietary preferences (e.g., vegan, gluten-free), cross-contamination with allergens may occur. By purchasing from Momma Dee's Kitchen, you acknowledge and accept this risk.
6. Food Handling and Storage
Our products are made fresh and should be consumed within 3-4 days for optimal quality. We recommend storing baked goods in a cool, dry place or refrigerating them if necessary. We are not responsible for the condition of the products after they have been picked up or delivered.
7. Product Availability
As a small home-based bakery, our products are made in limited quantities and may not always be available. We reserve the right to modify the menu or discontinue products without prior notice. We may also be able to bake products that are not displayed on our website. If you wish for us to bake something that isn't specifically mentioned in our online menu, please contact us to discuss options.
